02-05-08 47375 worked light engine to Taunton from St Phillips Marsh after working North from Laira with a stock move. Quite why it came and stabled in Platform 1 we are not sure, as it worked straight back to Bristol later on the 2nd of May!

06-05-08 47769 'Resolve' is seen in Platform 1, the loco was hired from Rivera Trains for Serco driving training runs in the South West and Wales. However it's former Virgin Heritage came home to roose when the loco was declared a failure at Taunton. 47812 has been sent for to complete the weeks training and tow 47769 back for rapair.Previous | Next01-05-07 Taunton's Platform 1 has seen a lot of use during the first part of 2008, On the 1st of May the Platform played host to it's first Barbie Liveried GBRF Class 66. 66725 had earlier worked a stock move to Long Marston and returned light engine to Taunton in order to stable. During the early hours of the 2nd the loco was added to the regular GBRF flow from Fairwater Yard to Peterborough, it joined 66705 to work the 4E31 06:30 Fairwater Yard - Peterborough old sleepers.
